75, says Roxbury rec.; in her will, made six days bef. names eldest d.
Mary, w. of Roger Wellington, the ch. of her dec. s. and d. John and
Sarah Alcock, with wh. she had liv. since the d. of her h. and John
Heylet, or Aylet, s. of her d. Lydia, who was w. of Edmund of Stepney,
near London.

    PALMER, * ABRAHAM, Charlestown, a merch. from London, wh. there
had join. the comp. of the faithful patentees of Mass. 1628, gave �50. to
promote its obj. and emb. hims. 1629, prob. with Higginson, was most
act. and intellig. town offic. req. adm. 19 Oct. 1630, and was made freem.
18 May foll. of Boston ch. with w. Grace, No. 68 and 9, and of the
found. of ch. at Charlestown, was in the first assemb. of rep. 1634, and serj.
in the Pequot war, went to Barbados 1652, in the Mayflower of Boston,
in wh. his sh. of adventure was 3/5, and that of Edward Burt 2/5, to be
account, for in London; there d. 1653; yet prob. he intend. to come
back. His wid. Grace d. Dec. 1660, and lieut. Thomas Lathrop had
admin. perhaps as a creditor. BENJAMIN, Stronington 1665, s. of Walter,
freem. 1666, liv. on the disput. Border of R. I. was capt. much involv.
in controv. and d. 10 Apr. 1716, and from that time no generat. has
failed to have, as is said, both Joseph and Benjamin. CHRISTOPHER,
Hampton, s. of William of the same, m. a. d. of Edward Hilton. EDWARD,
Boston 1639, put in the stocks of his own mak. for charg. too
high a price. See Hubbard, 248. Prob. he rem. to Hampton. ELIHU,
Stonington 1658, s. of Walter, was not an inhab. in 1670. ELNATHAN,

EPHRAIM, Greenwich 1672. FRANCIS, Rowley 1691, may have been
s. of John. GEORGE, Boston, wind cooper 1640, ar. co. 1642, rem. to
the E. bef. 1660, and he or ano. of the name was at Warwick, R. I. bef.
1655, tho. the place of his resid. is not told, and d. a. 1669. In Apr.
1670, a Boston creditor, James Neighbors, had gr. of admin. GEORGE,
Warwich, may be the same as preced. among freem. 1655, m. Bethia,
d. of Roger Morey of Providence, a. 1660. GERSHOM, Stonington
1665, br. of Benjamin, freem. 1666, m. 28 Nov. 1667, Ann, d. of capt.
George Denison, had Gershom, Ichabod, William, George, Walter,
Elihu, Mary, Rebecca, and Mercy. * HENRY, Newbury 1637, freem. 22
June 1642, rem. to Haverhill, from, who. he was rep. 1667, 74, 6-9, and
d. 15 July 1680. Perhaps he was of Hampton in his latter days. His
