from Eng. perhaps by his mo. who m. George Willis, sometimes writ.
Willowes; by w. Rebecca, d. of William Bordman, m. 4 Aug. 1664,
had Rebecca, b. 15, bapt. 17 Sept. 1665; John, 12, bapt. 14 Apr. 1667,
d. in few wks.; Elizabeth bapt. 24 May 1668; Martha, b. 18 May 1670;
Thomas, 7 May 1672, wh. d. 21 Nov. 1677; Ruth, 1 Nov. 1677, wh. d.
unm. at Medford, age 60; John, early in 1689, wh. d. 1 Dec. 1750,
says Cambr. Epit. in 71st yr. and unm. There were two or three ds.
more, of wh. one was Mary, wh. m. 1 Dec. 1700, Ebenezer Williams.
He d. 1689; in his will of 18 Feb. pro. 17 Dec. of that yr. he provides
for the new b. John, and six ds. but does not name them. Rebecca bec.

24 Nov. 1716, of Joseph Hicks; and Martha m. 30 May
1689, Benjamin Goddard. * PETER, Salem 1626, came, perhaps,
with Conant, or soon aft. req. adm. as freem. 19 Oct. 1630, and
took 18 May foll. the oath, was much betrusted, rep. 1635; by w.
Edith had Jonathan, bapt. 25 Dec. 1636; Jehoiadan, d. early; Remember,
bapt. 16 Sept. 1638; Mary, 15 Dec. 1639; and at least two
ds. more; rem. to Reading, there d. strick. in yrs. 15 Sept. 1663. He
m. for sec. w. Elizabeth wid. of John Fairfield, and had 3d w. Alice, name. in
his will of 21 Oct. 1662, with codic. of 19 May foll He names no s.
but prob. had bef. give. most of his est. the inv. of resid. being small.
The wid. liv. to 21 Mar. 1677, far strick. in yrs. Remember m. 12
Feb. 1662, Peter Aspenwall, beside wh. he names other s.-in-law Matthew
Johnson, who had m. 12 Nov. 1656, his d. Hannah, wh. d. 1 Aug.
1662; Samuel Pickman; and Benjamin Smith, who alone of the four
liv. at R. and d. Mary, prob. then unm. We fail to gain kn. of the m.
of s. Descent, however, from this patriarch is claimed by many, of
wh. one is the learned Professor P. the dilig. hist. of N. E.

    PALGRAVE, PALSGRAVE, JOHN, Boston, s. of Richard, m. 8 Feb.
1656, Mary, d. of Samuel Maverick of Noddles isl. He d. early, and
his wid. m. 20 Sept. 1660. Mr. Francis Hooke of Kittery. See Geneal.
Reg. VIII. 334. RICHARD, Charlestown, a physician, came in the
fleet with Winthrop from Stephney, Co. Middlesex, adjoin. London, with w.
Ann, and ds. Mary, Sarah, and, perhaps, other ch.; had here Rebecca,
b. 25 July 1631; John, 6, bapt. 9 Mar. 1634; Lydia, 15, bapt. 17 Jan.
1636; and Bethia, bapt. 8 July 1638; all these bapt. were in Boston
ch. of wh. the f. and mo. were both mem. Nos. 105 and 6, and did not
transfer their relat. to the Charlestown ch. This last ch. d. 21 Aug. aft.
