1694, and he d. 5 Mar. 1723. JOSEPH, Glastonbury, s. of the first John,
m. 4 June 1696, Dorothy, d. of Samuel Butler, had Dorothy, b. 17 Apr.
1697; Joseph, 9 July 1700; Jonathan, 17 Mar. 1703; James, 13 Apr.
1707; and his w. d. 19 Aug. 1709. He m. 29 June 1710, Esther, d. of
Jacob Gibbs, and had Benjamin, 27 July 1711; Esther, 4 Aug. 1713;
Elizabeth 19 Oct. 1716; and Mary, 9 Feb. 1720. He d. at Litchfield (of
wh. he was an early sett. 1721) but the date is unkn. for his will of
1737 was pro. seven yrs. later. SAMUEL, Rowley, s. of George, m. 12
Nov. 1682, Mary, d. of William Foster, had Hannah, b. 2 Oct. foll.;
Samuel, 20 July 1687; David, 12 Mar. 1689; Mary, 21 July 1696;
Jedediah, 20 Apr. 1699; and Eliphalet, 1706; and d. 22 Apr. 1722.
THOMAS, Wethersfield, from Wood Ditton, in Co. Cambridge, came to
Boston in the Increase, 1635, aged 55, with w. Frances, 50; and ch. Margaret,
23, as the custom-ho. rec. imports, but she was bapt. 23 Sept. 1607;
Lydia, 92, but bapt. 14 July 1616, and that age might have suit. better
an elder sis. Elizabeth bapt. 12 May 1614, wh. did not come; Mary, 16;
Frances, 12, bapt. 4 Sept. 1621; and John, 10, bapt. 29 Sept. 1624.
He d. bef. 25 Dec. 1640, when ment. of the lds. of Frances the wid. is
found. She d. Nov. 1650. Margaret m. Richard Law, the gr.f. of Gov.
Law; Lydia m. Robert Hayward or Howard of Windsor; Mary m.
John Root; and Frances m. Thomas Uffoot; and the three first nam.
had ch. but the last none. To the dilig. fondness of Payne Kenyon K.
of Litchfield, Esq. in 1847, were we indebt. for a copious memor. of
predecess. and descend. in 140 pages, wh. is multipl. threefold in 1856.
THOMAS, wh. came in the Elizabeth, from Ipswich, 1634, aged 24, with
w. Elizabeth 20, was eldest s. of the preced. bapt. 30 Nov. 1609, sent by the
f. in adv. to make prepar. for the fam. migrat. but no more is kn. of him,
so that it is not improb. that soon aft. his f. arr. he went home. THOMAS,
Hartford, s. of the first John, m. Hannah, a. of William Hills, had
Thomas, b. a. 1677; John; Mary, 1686; Naomi, 1693; and Samuel,
1696. Prob. the last three d.young, for they are not nam. in settlem. of
the est. aft. his d. 1712.

Mar. 1694; Miriam, 5 Dec. 1696; John, 24 Aug. 1699; Rebecca, 27
Dec. 1701; Samuel, 2 Oct. 1706; Sarah, 10 July 1708; and Mary, 18
Nov. 1712. EDWARD, Boston, m. 9 May 1662, Elizabeth wid. of Edward
Yeomans, d. of Thomas Josselyn. JOHN, Boston, perhaps br. of Christopher,
by w. Rebecca had Elizabeth b. 15 Sept. 1686; John, 24 Dec. 1688;
Sarah, 8 Mar. 1692; Christopher, 9 Dec. 1693, prob. d. soon; Richard,
2 Jan. 1695; William, 6 Apr. 1698; Catharine, 10 Feb. 1700; Rebecca,
