1658; Martha, 18 Apr. 1660; Mercy, 26 July 1662; Silence, 24 Oct. 1664;
Eliz., 20 Sept. 1666; Comfort, 6 Dec. 1668; John, 8 Apr. 1671, d. at 19 yrs.;
Joseph, 27 Nov. 1673; Ebenezer, 6 Feb. 1678; and Japhet, 8 July 1681; and
d. 15 Nov. 1692. His wid. Mary d. 1701; is in the list of freem. 1669,
and propr. in 1685; in the Index of Trumbull, Col. Rec. II. is nam.

the first Thomas Yale, and d. 3 Oct. 1703. His wid. d. 28 Feb. 1708.
MOSES, New Haven, s. of the preced. was a mariner, had a fam. Mr.
Porter tells me, but gives no names. PAUL, Salem, sign. the petitn.
against imposts 1668. By w. Damaris he had Damaris, b. 12 Aug. 1658;
Ruth, 4 Nov. 1662; Paul, 4 Aug. 1664; Elias, 29 Mar. 1667, wh. d. in
4 mos.; Abigail, 28 June 1668; and Rebecca, 5 Mar. 1674. RICHARD,
New Haven 1643, perhaps earlier, d. 10 Jan. 1655, leav. wid. Gilian,
wh. m. Alexander Field, and ch. Moses, and Joseph, bef. ment. ROBERT,
Lynn 1642, may have been s. of the first Andrew, or more prob. his br.
b. in Eng. wh. had w. Elizabeth s. Andrew, and d. 1666. SAMUEL,
Lynn, perhaps s. of the first Andrew, m. 3 Mar. 1674, Sarah Barsham,
had Andrew, b. 4 Jan. 1675; Sarah, 6 Nov. 1676; and Bethia, 13 Mar.
and he d. 10 Apr. foll. SAMUEL, Springfield, rep. 1680, 3,
and 4. THOMAS, Lynn 1642. One of this fam. name came in the
Regard 1634, who was from Exeter, Eng. and was not found to be a
desirab. inhab. as ment. by Winthrop I. 150. In 1834 four had been gr. at
Harv. six at Yale, and one at Amherst coll.

    MANSIR, MANSER or MANSUR, ROBERT, Charlestown 1678, a
householder, of wh. I kn. no more.

    MANSON, may or may not be found in N. E. bef. 1692, but as. yet he
been sought in vain. Yet in the Blessing, from London, 1635, there
brot. a Thomasin M. aged 14, wh. may hare foll. her f.

    MANTON, EDWARD, Providence, s. of Shadrach of the same, m. 9
Dec. 1680, Elizabeth d. of John Thornton, freem. 1655, sw. alleg. May 1682.
