Stillwater Junction was the junction of the Saratoga and Schuylerville Railroad, running between Saratoga Springs and Mechancville, and the Boston & Maine Railroad lines going east to Massachusetts and north along the Hudson River. The tracks of the Saratoga and Schuylerville and of the Boston & Maine going north have been removed leaving only the line to Massachusetts. See Mechanicville Map to download Historical U. S. Geological Survey Topographic Maps of this area.
It can be inferred from various online documents regarding the Saratoga and Schuylerville Railroad that East Saratoga Junction and Stillwater Junction were alternate names for the same, no longer existing, railroad stop.
