Snetterton is a village and civil parish in the south central part of the English county of Norfolk. The village is located some 20 km (12 mi) northeast of the town of Thetford and 30 km (19 mi) southwest of the city of Norwich.

Snetterton civil parish has an area of 8.94 km2 (3.45 sq mi) and in the 2001 census had a population of 202 in 74 households. For the purposes of local government, the parish falls within the district of Breckland.

A Vision of Britain through Time provides the following description of Snetterton from John Marius Wilson's Imperial Gazetteer of England and Wales of 1871-72:

"SNETTERTON, a parish in Wayland [registration] district, Norfolk; 2 miles NNE of Harling-Road [railway] station, and 4½ SW of Attleborough. Post town: Thetford. Acres: 2,189. Real property: £2,155. Population: 237. Houses: 59. The manor belongs to the Earl of Albemarle. The living is a rectory, annexed to Quiddenham. The church is good. Charities, £7."
