Sholden is a village and civil parish near Deal and Sandwich in Kent, in the southeast of England. Since 1974 it has been part of the Dover District. From 1894 until 1974 it was located in Eastry Rural District. It is the most easterly of the string of villages that made up the Kent coalfield which is now mined out.
It was previously be known as 'Soldone' and 'Scholdon'.
