Northampton St. Peter is an ancient parish in Northampton, Northamptonshire. Upton is a chapelry of Northampton St Peter.

Parish records began in 1578; bishops transcripts are available from 1708. It acted as a civil parish from 1837 until 1909 when these duties were taken over by the County Borough of Northampton.

Society of Friends/Quaker is the only Christian denomination outside the Church of England identified within the parish.

Northampton St Peter is located in the southwest corner of the town and is bounded on the north by Northampton St. Sepulchre, on the east by Northampton All Saints, on the south by Duston, and on the west by Dallington.
