New Richmond is an inhabited place. It is an unincororated community which was founded near the site of Richmond, the original settlement in Manlius Township, Allegan County, Michigan at the most favorable crossing of the the Kalamazoo River near the confluence of the Rabbit River.
New Richmond is served by the Pere Marquette Railway line from Benton Harbor to Holland.
