"A Vision of Britain through Time" has a map of the hundreds of Surrey dated 1832.

The small hundred of Effingham is sometimes joined with Copthorne Hundred which is situated to its west. Together the two hundreds made up the central part of Surrey prior to the removal of the northeast part of the county into the County of London in 1900 and then into Greater London in 1965.
