I see a Rest Haven Convalescent Home in South Holland, Cook County. I find another one in Palos Heights, also Cook County. And Pete Keimel died in a community of that name in Worth, Cook County. All three were and are major centers for Netherlands-Americans, so any is plausible. Any ideas? --Pkeegstra 15:35, 22 January 2014 (UTC)
That does make sense. She lived at 10859 Wabash - and that is just north South Holland. According to the book Dutch Chicago "The convalescent homes are Rest Haven South in South Holland, Rest Haven Central in Palos Heights (1958), and Rest Haven West (Saratoga Grove) in Downers Grove (1984)" --Jennifer (JBS66) 15:45, 22 January 2014 (UTC)
Bit of an edit conflict there :) You might be able to view the obit here (you should get 1 free newspaper view per day). --Jennifer (JBS66) 15:47, 22 January 2014 (UTC)
Looks like the Downers Grove location opened too late to be relevant; it is also in DuPage County. I'll just mention the other three in a note; all are on the southish side. (Presumably an actual death certificate would resolve the ambiguity.) --Pkeegstra 19:00, 22 January 2014 (UTC)
