POD [8 September 2010]

This article originally had an October 1745 DOD, with a POD of Kernstown VA. PA biographies gives his POD as Hogestown, Cumberland county, Pennsylvania. I do not have a DOD associated with that. 1745 maybe correct, or it may be the DOD of a different John Hoge who died in Kernstown. Kernstown is near Winchester in the valley of VIrginia, and it would not be out of the question that John of E. Pennsboro may have moved there sometime before 1745. In short, I'll go with a POD of Cumberland county, until more definitive data is available. Suggestions have been made to seek his will in Cumberland County Records. Possibly also graverecords.
