The John Clark who married "Evey" can't be the same John Clark that married Ann Rogers. Ann's tombstone/memorial lists her children, including those who were born after the John/Evey marriage. Two marriages? [18 January 2014]

Is there any evidence for a marriage to Ann Paulett? Or is this a confusion with his marriage to Ann Rogers?--DataAnalyst 02:47, 17 January 2014 (UTC)

I can find no evidence for a prior marriage to Ann Paulett. (No reference to this marriage on Ancestry or on his Find-A-Grave Page) I had removed 2 other obviously unsubstantiated marriages from his Person Page several months ago, but left this one because it may have been possible for him to have a prior (short) marriage to his marriage to Ann Rogers, but without any substantiation, his supposed marriage to Ann Paulett should probably be removed. --Delijim

Removed marriage to Ann Paulett (by merging with his other marriage). The only source appears to be the Ancestral File (now the Family Tree at familysearch), which is a mess for this marriage (e.g., children born before parents were born).--DataAnalyst 15:36, 18 January 2014 (UTC)
