The passenger list for the James of London includes "Zacheus Courtis, of Downton, laborer"[4]

Lived in Reading and Gloucester (Mass?) and then moved to Boxford (called Rowley Village) by 1663.

He had a nuncupative will described in court as leaving each of his grandsons 20s, his granddaughters 10s; and that his son Ephraram should have all his farm after his mother's decease. John Ramsdel and Abigail Curtis testified to the will's contents on 29 Nov 1682, and "John Cortes, Eharem Cortes, and Jonathen Loock all consented to their father's will". [5]

The James of London (1635)
At least two ships called the James sailed in 1635 from England to New England. The passenger list for this one refers to the "James of London." It lists only the men and boys, but indicates that wives and children accompanied them.
