Cook, Zachariah - entered service 1781 in Staunton [Augusta County], Virginia; born abt. 1/10/1751; granted Pension 1830 in Greenbrier County, Virginia, when wife was age 52; moved in 1835 to Pike County, Ohio, to be near children, where died 1/1846 or 6/30/1846, leaving children: John, Elizabeth, Mary Burgess, Nancy Gale, Margaret Zimmerman, Susan Zimmerman, & Sarah Butler; query letter in file states soldier buried at Beaver, Ohio. R641.
