Woffendale Kendall died about October 1795 in King George County. After his death the family moved to Shenandoah County. Woffendale was the father of James 1760-1823. James had a son Woffendale 1789-1846. Could the grandson have applied for his grandfather's pension. Woffendale, the younger, was in Shenandoah until 1829 per tax lists. The same Woffendale (and wife Rachel) show up in Morgan County, Illinois. He is listed in the 1839 tax list for Morgan County, IL. He dies around 1846 and his wife Rachel is executrix. She later remarries a Cline. I have not check VA tax list from 1830-1840 for Woffendale.
