1841 - At the Election on 29th June 1841 2 MPs were elected to serve for the Borough of Yarmouth. William Worship, Solicitor, voted as a freeman of the borough.

1843 - William and Harry Verelst Worship both appear in the Law List of 1843 as Country Attorneys in Great Yarmouth.

1851 - Living in Regent Street, Gt Yarmouth with a housekeeper and house servant. Attorney at Law, single, aged 39, born at Yarmouth, Norfolk.

1854 - Norfolk Directory: William Worship was a councillor for St. Nicholas ward, Yarmouth.

1859 - Rye records that William was Mayor of Yarmouth twice.

1860 - Mary Gregory writes: "Cousin Peter Worship visited Yarmouth in December 2000 and gave me the following information about the framed notice to be found in the Gallon Pot PH there (first mentioned to me by Les Harland, bell ringer in Welwyn). It concerns an appeal, dated 12th June 1860, for the widows and children of 150 fishermen drowned in a recent storm. There were 50 wives and 160 children involved. The appeal was headed by William Worship, Mayor, and the committee included Francis Worship, Deputy Mayor. Lowestoft joined in this appeal as fishermen from there had also lost their lives."

The Will of William Worship of Norfolk late of Ormesby St Michael and of Gt Yarmouth both in the county of Norfolk who died 12-11-1882 at Ormesby St Michael was proved at the Principal Registry by Rebecca Branford Worship of Ormseby St Michael widow the relict (during widowhood), William Alfred Glasspoole of Islay House Islay in North Britain esquire and Sir Thomas Paine of 46 Gresham House in the City of London Knight the executors.
