10/29/1812 William Wisner of the town of Manlius, Onondaga Co, NY, bought 268 acres and 52 perches in the town of Manlius, part of lot 42, for $1662.00 from John Dill of the town of New Windsor, Orange Co, NY. Book M pg 498 12/4/1826 Willam Wisner of the town of Salina, Onondaga Co, bought 60 acres in the town of Manlius, part of lot 40, for $666.00 from Egbert & Elizabeth Badgley (his brother-in-law) Book II pg 460 1/4/1827William sold the 60 acres above for $666.00 to Jacob Ryder of Manlius. Book LL pg 76(Note: Jacob Ryder's wife was probably a neice or cousin of Wm's mother-in-law, Mary E Bookout. Jacob Ryder was also probably the brother or cousin of Eliz. Ryder Badgley) 1828 William Wisner bought land in the town of Manlius, part of lot 30, from E Ward. Book LL pg 388 1831 William Wisner sold land in Manlius, part of lot 42, to J Dill Book VV pg 68 1833 William Wisner bought land in Manlius, part of lot ?, from R Bulkley Book 51 pg 461 1833 William & Elizabeth Wisner sold in Manlius, part of lot 30, to E J Ward Book ZZ pg 172 4/2/1841 William & Elizabeth Wisner of the town of Clay, Onondaga Co, sold 153 acres (excepting 50 acres previously sold to Stephen Carpenter)in the town of Salina (which previously was Manlius) for $3187.00 to Wildman Williams of the town of Pompey, Onondaga Co. Book 78 pg 77 (The index did not show the sale of land to S Carpenter) 7/1/1841 William Wisner of the town of Clay, bought 136 acres in the town of Clay, part of lots 90 & 91, for $4000.00 from Benjamin G Avery and Eliza his wife of the town of Clay. The land was bounded by Chesbro Rd, State Rd, & Liverpool Rd. Book 78 pg 385 4/1/1850 William & Elizabeth Wisner of the town of Clay, sold 65 92/100 acres in the town of Clay, part of lot 90, for $2037.20 to Miles Adams of the town of Salina. Book 100 pg 168 4/1/1850William & Eliazbeth Wisner sold 79 79/100 acres in the town of Clay, part of lot 91, for $2790.90 to Moses Hinsdell of the town of Pompey. Book 101 pg 97 __________________________________________________________________ The 1880 census gives his place of birth as NY on William A, Marshall, and Mary's records, as PA on Sarah's record, and as ME on son George's record. __________________________________________________________________ No death certificate on file Lake Co, IL clerk's office __________________________________________________________________ From notes for Anthony Badgley, grandfather of Wm's wife - (Henry4 Wisner [Henry 3, Hendrick2, Johannes1] is recorded in Rumbout, Dutchess Co in 1765, it is not known how early he arrived there or how long he stayed. Capt Anthony's grandaughter, Elizabeth, married William Wisner, whose parentage has not yet been determined. This may or may not show that the famlies already knew each other. H Wisner vs the heirs of Wm Wisner, " the said William Wisner at his death left surviving him the following named children all of whom are now living. Sarah A Camfield the wife of Michael Camfield. Mary E Hall wife of William H Hall. Henry S Wisner. George A Wisner. William A Wisner and Marshall W Wisner who are six of his heirs at law. Your orator futher show??? into your honor that the said William Wisner at his death left surviving him one other child named Prentice M Wisner who died intestate on or about the 30th day of April 1879..........."
