Per the court case Geo. H Wisner vs the heirs of William Wisner, "the said William Wisner at his death left surviving two grandchildren, the defendant Mary Lyke and Alice M Madden children of his son Anthony Wisner who died intestate on or about the 17th of April 1865 leaving him surviving a widow the defendant Cynthia Carner and the said Mary Lyke and Alice M Madden and Sofia E Wisner afterwards Sofia E Valentine his children and his heirs and only heirs, and that the said Sofia E Valentine died on or about the 30th day of January 1875 leaving the said defendants George A Valentine and Eva Valetine her only children and only heirs at law."
