WILLIAM apparently moved from Urbana to Anderson when his parents and siblings did, approximately 1890, when he was nine years of age. In circa 1918 he moved to KOKOMO, Indiana. He apparently moved back to Anderson in the 1930s. It seems that after his wife's death in 1937, he returned to Kokomo.

He worked as a "grinder" for a couple of stove companies in Anderson and Kokomo. He was a member of the Kokomo Moose Lodge.

He died at age 56 of pneumonia.
