We the subscribers of the deceased James Kerr and Margt. Kerr of the Township of Paxton in the County of Lancaster do acknowledge to have recd. from William Kerr of the Township and County aforesaid full satisfaction for all legacies bequeath'd to us by our late fath. & mother in their respective Wills and Testaments and to acquit and release the said William Kerr from all claims or demands to be made by us or any of us in regard to said legacies action or actions law suits or otherwise that may be commenced agt. sd. Willm. Kerr by us as Witnesses our hands and seals this 28th day of Feby. 1757.

William Kerr to Andrew Stewart
KNOW ALL MEN by these presents that I William Kerr Farmer of Paxton Township Lancaster County & Province of Pennsylvania for and in consideration of five hundred pounds of lawful money of Pennsylvania, to be paid in the following manner, viz Two hundred and seventy pounds in hand and and one hundred pounds, on November the first in the year 1762, and fifty pounds on the first day of November in the year 1763, and fifty pounds on the first day of November in the year 1764, and thirty pounds on November in the year 1765, Have bargained sold set over and delivered and by these presents according to the just and due form of Law in that case made and provided, do bargain set over and deliver to Andrew Stewart Farmer of the Township County and Province afforesaid an improvement situated in Paxton Township Lancaster County and Province of Pennsylvania bounded in the following manner viz on the Wast by William Kelsey on the South by Mr. John Elder and on the West by John Harris and on the North by Dr. John Canzon &c.
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the said bargained premises unto the sd. Andrew Stuart his heirs, executors, administrators and assigns forever: And I the said William Kerr for myself, my executors, admrs. or assigns the said bargained premises unto the said Andrew Steward his heirs admrs. and assigns against all and all manner of persons and all lawfull claims the Honorable Proprietaries only excepted shall and will forever warrant and defend together with my right and claim to tht land now in my possession, which is commonly called ye mannor which bargains was made and done in plain and open mercat.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF I have hereunto set my hand and seal this twenty fifth day of October in the year of our Lord 1760. I am not to defend ye that, go[e]s by the name of the mannor land.

LANCASTER COUNTY SS: Before me the subscriber one of the Justices of the Court of Common Pleas for the County aforesaid came the within named William Kerr & Elinor his wife and acknowledged with within conveyance or instrument of wriging to be their act and deed and desired the same my be recorded as such. She the said Elinor being by me seperately and apart examined acknowledged to know the contents, to be of jull age & freely asssenting thereto.
