  • Page 226.--17th March, 1768. William Hugart to Andrew and Thomas Lewis, £120, 490 acres on Meadow Creek, a branch of Jackson's River at a place known as the Great Meadow, patented to John Dickenson, 26th _____, 1760, conveyed by John to William 21st August, 1766.

Mr. John Kinkead's land; James Campbell's land; land of Jacob Clemons, deceased. Delivered to Wm. Hugheart, 21st December, 1790.
  • Page 873.--20th May, 1765. Same (from Joseph Carpenter, Sr.) to Solomon Carpenter, planter, £10, 160 acres, John Man's line. Delivered: Wm. Huggart, 4th November, 1772.
  • Page 307.--20th May, 1767. John Dickenson to Benj. Estill, £100, 546 acres on a branch of Jacksons River called the Falling Spring, patented to Adam Dickenson on 1st June, 1750, and conveyed by Adam to John and David Stanley and by them conveyed to John Dickenson; also a survey adjoining above containing 250 acres. All to be brought up to the rules of the Church of England. Teste: Saml. Vance, Mary Gregory. Proved, 20th June, 1769, by the witnesses. Administration granted Thos. Hugart, who qualifies with Wm. Hugart, Wm. Kinkead.
  • Vol. 1 - NOVEMBER 28, 1770. - (162) William Hugart vs. Joseph Carpenter} Decree for plaintiff for sale of 160 acres on Jackson's River, part of 782 acres patented to Joseph June 1, 1750. Memo.--The land was sold by Edward McMullen, Jan'y., 1771, at public auction, and bought by plaintiff for £90.
