Obituary

"W. G. Hintz, 87, of 1658 College, died at 10 PM Sunday and Memorial hospital after a nine-month illness he was the owner of the former Chapin Park Pharmacy. Hintz was born September 11, 1891, in South Bend and lived there all his life. On June 30, 1915, in South Bend, he married Lillian Wells, who survived also surviving are a son, Richard W. of Lakeville; for grandchildren; two great-grandchildren, and a sister, Mrs. Elsie Nickerson of Waukegon, Illinois.

Services will be at 11 AM Wednesday in the Welshimer funeral home, 521 North William, with Rev. Charles Felton, pastor of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, officiating. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery. Friends may call of 3 2 8 PM Tuesday in the funeral home. Hence was a member of the Church, the South Bend Pharmacy Club and was a 1981 graduate of University of Notre Dame. Memorial contributions may be made to the Cancer Society or to the church."
