- Vol. 1 - FEBRUARY 23, 1762. - (195) Wm. Hadden--a juryman.
- Page 322.--18th May, 1762. Nathaniel Evins to William Ward. £90, 279 acres, 249 part of Bordin's tract, and 30 acres part of an entry of King's land adjoining the same; cor. Thomas Wilson. Teste: George Wilson, Benj. Estill, Wm. Haddin. Delivered: James Trotter by your order, May, 1769.
- Vol. 1 - MAY 18, 1774. - (468)) Ephraim Richardson and Wm. Martin--road surveyors from Francis Wier's, on Monongahela River, to Thorny Creek, on waters of Greenbrier. John Warwick, Richard Elliott and Ralph Stewart are exempted from working on above road until it is built. William Hadden is ordered to clear from Thorny Creek to Nap's Creek, with tithables living below him on Nap's Creek, and from Alexr. Dunlap's to William Sharp's on Greenbrier. Jacob Warwick, road overseer, from William Warwick's to Back Creek, with tithables from Thomas Cartmell's up Greenbrier to the head and down Nap's Creek to Moses Moore's.
- Page 304.--25th June, 1774. John McClenachan's will--To wife, Margaret, tract near Staunton, where Thomas Scott lived, given me by my father in his lifetime; to son, Thomas, above tract after wife's death, 3 negroes; brothers and sisters, to inherit in default of heirs of Thomas; John Frogg, to be fully satisfied for testator's board while at his house. Executors to abide by a memorandum left with John Lewis. Executors, John Hervie, Charles Lewis, Alex. Sinclair. Teste: Margaret Lewis, Wm. Haddon, John Lewis. 16th November, 1774-- Widow Margaret Ann appears and renounces the will and its provisions for her. 17th January, 1775--Will and memorandum (follows) proved by John Lewis and Wm. Haddon. Sinclair qualifies with Robert McClenachan, John Dean, Alex. Gibson, Alex. McClenachan. Memorandum mentioned in the will, p. 306, viz:
- Page 87.--Vendue bill of above James Stewart, deceased, 1772, to, viz: Richard Eliot, Wm. Haddon. (Note: this record appears to be records sometime between 1777-1779).
