"William Cornwell Sr." joined the Middletown church at or soon after its organization on 4 November 1658, along with a number of other family members, including two by the name of "Mary Cornwell," one of whom was likely his second wife [MidChR 1:3].
OFFICES: … William Cornwall's houselot in Hartford was in or near the Soldiers' Field, suggesting that he served in the Pequot War [HaBOP 322], a likely suggestion in any case, given his designation as sergeant.
