Will worked in the family-owned lumber sawmill business in Vankleek Hill. After it burned and the business closed, he moved his family first to Kemptville and then to Cornwall, Ontario. The 1921 Canadian Census shows Will as a roomer in Winchester Villiage (near Kemptville) working at the saw mill. Daisy and children are still living in Vankleek Hill.
