William's ancestor was Konrad Regula, who was born 1733 in the village of WALDGREHWEILER, in the Pfalz. The Regula surname is common in the Stone Creek area.

A Robert Catcott was elected as an elder in the Mt. Zion's Lutheran Church in 1862. Was he William's father? Or grandfather?

On March 27, 1910, a William Robert Catcott, was confirmed at Mt. Zion's Lutheran Church. Were these two people the same person? William, born 1893, would have been about the right age.
