- Page 176.--19th August, 1790. Elizabeth Armstrong's will--To daughter, Mary Armstrong, 30 acres left testatrix by her son Samuel. Executrix, said daughter Mary. Teste: Alex. Long, Sarah Brand, John Shields. Proved, July Court, 1795, by Alex. Long, and Breeze, late Brand.
- Vol. 2 - DISTRICT CIRCUIT COURT EXECUTIONS. SEPTEMBER, 1794 (A to I). - Michael Fackler and Jacob Geiger vs. William Breeze--Case. For shutting flood gates on Lewis Creek. Nuisance for overflowing plaintiff's lot, No. 10, in Staunton, by his mill dam. Writ, 1st August, 1792.

James Brand's will, Sr.--To wife, Ann, home plantation on South River bounded by Gabriel Jones, Jacob Bear, 200 acres; to son, James; to son, George; to son, David; to sons, John and Thomas, lands in Kentucky; to son, Richard Brand, my phisical books; to daughter, Sarah Breize; daughter, Margaret. Executors, wife Ann and son James. Teste: Joseph Bell, George Andrews, Elizabeth Andrews. Proved, 16th June, 1795, by George and Elizabeth Andrews. [Note: James Brand was the father-in-law of William Breeze].
