Letter stating that his son, William Bendle, volunteered on June 3 in Company A, 4th Regiment, Ohio Volunteer Infantry, that his son was taken sick and sent from Camp Dennison on June 27 to the Marine Hospital in Cincinnati, and that his son died at the hospital on July 31; and asking what measures should be taken to get his son's wages for the time he was in service. 1p.
