WILHELM ELROD was born on October 10, 1708 in Palatinate, Germany.

In all known Elrod Histories William is mentioned as the first born and the child that came on the boat that sailed from Rotterdam, Holland to London, England, July 15, 1709. His marriage record is from Early Lutheran Baptisms and Marriages in Southeast Pennsylvannia. The records of Reverend John Casper Stoever from 1730 to 1779.

The following is copied from a history of Monocacy Manor, Maryland. On July 25, 1742 William Ellrod leased "Monocacy Manor" Lot no 30 on thelives of James Read aged 50 (in 1767), Mary 49, and Henry 27. Their relationship, if any, is unknown.

Wilhelm died in 1768 in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.
