Violet Reynolds Ashton relayed to RC that Walter, a relative, helped to get her husband, Paul, hired at Buckeye (about 1939-1940) when jobs were hard to come by. RC's father, John Medaugh, also relayed that Walter helped to get him hired by Buckeye (about 1952) when he had trouble finding full-time employment after returning from Korea. Walter apparently worked in the personnel office of Buckeye Pipe Line.
