- 16 November 1835 - Martha Simpson and Isabella McChesney stated in Open Court that Walter McChesney in his last illness stated he wished the stable horse sold and that the price be divided between his sons James McChesney and Andrew W. McChesney and that the plantation should remain in the possession of his wife Margaret McChesney for her support during her life and the raising and support of the family, and at the death of Margaret the tract of land on which the farm is situated to descend to his youngest son Mathew McChesney. Established as the noncupative will of Walter McChesney dec’d. Samuel A. McChesney appointed administrator of decedent’s estate.
