WALTER CHAMPIONS1
Walter died peacefully November 19, 2001 at Oakview Place. He is survived by his wife; and children, [names of living individuals have been removed] in Winnipeg, and [living] in Corpus Christie, Texas. He will be remembered fondly by his six grandchildren. There are also six great-grandchildren. He has a sister [living] in Weymouth, England, and nephew, [living] in Sechelt, B.C. He was predeceased by his daughter, Susan Woodward in 1995, and grandson, Bruce in 1991. Walter retired in 1967 from the C.N.R. to enjoy many years of time to do all the things he loved. Summers at Victoria Beach, winters in Texas, golf, curling, woodworking and his model ships and gardening. Cremation has already taken place and there will be no service. No flowers please.
