Thomas Dane had a daughter borne 24o (12o) 1642.
[Note: the 12th month is Feb. This is 24 Feb 1642/3. However, a footnote says, "So recorded. Evidently an error in the date of this or the next preceding entry." Generally these records are as recorded, and the record before is month 2, this is month 12, and the next is month 6, all in 1642. However, it is not clear from inspecting the rest of the page that such variation is unusual, and thus concluding this is an error as suggested by the footnote, seems unwarranted.]
[Further note: this birth is generally assigned to Mary by secondard sources, presumably based on Sarah being older and this being the last birth before Hannah, so belonging to the younger of the two. Perhaps the will of the father informs this assumed order but has not been seen. Nominally, this birth could possibly belong to Sarah, Mary or, even, a third daughter?]
