ASHEBORO — Mr. Timothy Van Shoffner, 56, of 1536 N. Tremont Drive, died Oct. 8, 2007.

Survivors include his mother, Vergie Shoffner of the home; and brothers, Hervey Shoffner Jr. of Asheboro and Mike Shoffner of Gray’s Chapel.

The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 11, 2007, at Ridge Funeral Home Chapel in Asheboro. Burial will be in Randolph Memorial Park in Asheboro.

Visitation will be at the funeral home from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday.

Mr. Timothy Van Shoffner, 56, of 1536 North Tremont Drive, died Monday, October 08, 2007, at his home.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Thursday, October 11, 2007, at the Ridge Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Tim Lowery and the Rev. Lee Roy Hunt officiating. Burial will follow at Randolph Memorial Park.

A native of Randolph County, Mr. Shoffner was the son of Lois Shoffner, of the home, and the late Hervey S. Shoffner, Sr. He had been employed as a fabricator with Tex Racing and Phil Parsons Racing and loved Harley Davidson Motorcycles. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his wife, Dema Wilson Shoffner.

Other survivors include his brothers, Hervey Shoffner, Jr. and wife, Vicki, of Asheboro, Mike Shoffner, of Gray’s Chapel; special nieces, Kelly Lanier, and husband, Dale, of Denton, Jessica Shoffner, of Gray’s Chapel; and special nephew, Lee Smith.

The family will receive friends at Ridge Funeral Home, 908 Albemarle Road, Asheboro, NC, from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 10, 2007, and other times at the home.
