FRANKLINVILLE — Mr. Michael Loflin Shoffner, 53, passed away Monday, October 15, 2007.

Funeral services will be held 3 p.m. Wednesday, October 17, at Ridge Funeral Home Chapel, Asheboro. Published in the News Record on 10/16/2007.

Mr. Michael Loflin Shoffner, 53, 3144 Alton Drive, Franklinville, NC, died Monday, October 15, 2007, at the home of his mother.

Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 17, 2007, at the Ridge Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Tim Lowery and the Rev. Lee Roy Hunt officiating.

Mr. Shoffner was a native of Randolph County and had served in the US Navy during the Vietnam War.

He is survived by his daughter, Jessica Shoffner, of the home; mother, Lois Shoffner, of Asheboro; and brother, Hervey Shoffner, Jr., of Asheboro.

The family will receive friends at Ridge Funeral Home from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 16, 2007, and other times at the home of Lois Shoffner, 1536 N. Tremont Drive, Asheboro, NC.
