The Estate of Thomas Cramphorne

"In his 1616 will, Thomas Cramphorne of Sawbridgeworth bequeathed to: 'John Cramphorn my sonne' several pieces of land, provided that he deliver to 'his mother' a yearly stipend; and if John died without heirs of his body, then to [torn] 'my youngest son'; to Thomas Cramphorne my yongest [torn],' lands that were to be Thomas' mother's for the term of her live, and if Thomas died without heirs of his body,then the lands to remain to 'John my sonne'; to 'Mary my wife' all goods and chattles; 'Mary my daughter' to receive a bequest within one [year] (proved 27 September 1616, Commissary Court of London, Essex & Herts. Divisions, original wills)."[1]
