The Will of Widow Mary Cramphorne

"In her will of 6 April 1630, Mary (Lyndesell) Cramphorne named more of their children. Though 'sick in body,' she bequeathed to 'Ester my Daughter the wife of Thomas Miller a p[ar]te of my lynine as I have layd it asside for her'; to 'John Perry my sonne in lawe i d'; to 'william Heath my sonne in law i d'; to 'Thomas Miller my sonne in law i d'; to 'John Cramphorne my sonne one Joyned bedsted'; to 'Mary his wife my best govne'; to Thomas Chramphorne the sonne of Daiel Cramphorn my sonne x lb to bye hime bookes'; the residue to executors to discharge debts and legasies '& buyre me deasentlye'; 'Daniel Cramphorne of Stortford & John Cramphorne of Sawbridgworth my sonnes my Executors'; and 'Thomas Miller of Stortford my sonne in law my overseer.' Mary made her mark to this will (proved 20 February 1631/2, Commissary Court of London, Essex & Herts. Divisions, original wills)."[1]
