- Allison, Thomas. London, Britain. December 3, 1737. January 19, 1737/8. Not rec. to 2 eldest sons Andrew and William and to daughter Annas Allison 10 shillings each. To wife Isabella 1/3 of personal estate and use of real estate during widowhood to raise up and educate children, afterwards plantation to sons, James and Robert. Remainder to sons, James, Robert, John and daughters Margaret, Christiana and Mary Allison.

- Will of Thomas Allison
- In the name of God Amen, I Thomas Allison Yeoman of Chester County in the Province of Pennsylvania, being weak of Body but in perfect Mind and Memory praise be to the Almighty God but knowing that it is appointed for all persons once to die do this day being the third of December Annoquo Domimi Seventeen hundred and thirty seven Make and Ordain this my last Will and Testament In manner and Form and to the Effect Following Viz ~
- First I recommend my Soul to God that gave it to me and my Body to be buried in a Christian Like and decent manner at the discretion of my Executors hereafter nomonated In gurd and certain hope that I shall zocorise? the same again by the Almighty Power of God.
- Item ~ I will and bequeath to my two Eldest Sons Andrew Allison and William Allison as also unto my daughter Annas Allison Ten Shillings each allowing the same to be the full portions with what they have Heretofore gott[en].
- Item ~ I will and bequeath after my debts are paid and my Funnoral Expences performed that my Wife Izabella Allison have her thirds of all my moveable Estate and then all __ rest of my movable Estate be equally divided betwixt my sons James Allison, Robert Allison, Thomas Allison, John Allison and my daughters Margaret Allison, Christiana Allison, Mary Allison.
- Item ~ I will & bequeath that my wife Izabella Allison if she unmarried Life, that then she possess my houses, Land and Plantation and that she raise up & Educat my Children Thomas Allison, John Allison, Margaret Allison, Christiana Allison, Mary Allison and that she held in her hands the portions of my moveabl[e] Estate belonging unto ___ Children until They be raised up and after they are raised up, Let them have their portions specified. But if my Wife Izabella Allison Marrie [Marry] that then immediately my Ranges, Land and Plantation be divided betwixt my sons James Allison and Robert Allison and that then my sons James Allison & Robert Allison shall raize up and educat[e] my Children Thomas Allison, John Allison, Margaret Allison, Christiana Allison, Mary Allison and that they shall have in their hands irs? - portions of my moveable Estate belonging unto those Children until they are raized and after they are raized up and Educated Lot IRs? Children have their portions specified.
- Item I will and bequeath that if my Wife Izabella Allison __ unmarried that then at here death my Ranges Land and Plantation be divided Equally betwixt my two sons James Allison and Robert Allison.
- Item ~ I allow and order that my sons James Allison possess sit down and clear in the woods up on my Land and plantation in that part of the Wood Land which should fall his share according unto my above mentioned Will when __ Ro gooth fit and convenient for him to do it.
- Item ~ I do nomonat [nominate] and appoint my Wife Izabella Allison and my Son James Allison be Executors of all and singular of this my Last Will and Testament, and I do appoint Alexander White yeoman of Chester County of the Province of Pennsylvania and Joseph Steele yeoman of Coicel [Cecil] County in the Province of Maryland to oversee my Executors. And I do utterly Disannul and Revock all and every former Will and Wills Testament or Testaments at any time of Times heretofore made by me. And I do publickly pronounce and declare this to be my Last Will and Testament and in Testimony of the Truth of what is above written I have here unto fixed my hand and seal the day and year above written.
