Birth Date: 19 Jul 1895 Parent's Origin: of American parents Occupation: civil engineer Comment: inducted at Cavalier on May 11, 1918; sent to Fort Logan, Colo.; served in Company D, 23rd Machine Gun Battalion, to discharge. Grade: Corporal, July 10, 1918. Discharged at Camp Dodge, Iowa, on Feb. 12, 1919, as a Corporal. Living in Rhinelander, Wisconsin at 1930 census where he is listed as the City Manager, renting for $60/month. "City Manager Theodore Wardwell and County Chairman Gale Huber have notified all men in Rhinelander and Oneida country receiving unemployment relief that they will have to perform road work or be removed from the list. The men will be paid 20 cents per hour.
