Facts and Events
Sophia Thompson was baptised on 25th May 1845 at Wheathampstead in Hertfordshire, daughter of a straw plaiter named Hannah Thompson, formerly Swallow, and her husband William Thompson, an agricultural labourer and straw factor. Sophia appears in the 1851 and 1861 censuses living wih her parents and siblings in Wheathampstead. By 1861 Sophia was working as a plaiter. She has yet to be researched after 1861.
