    Silas G. Burdick, one of the old pioneer settlers of Milton, died at his home in Milton Junction on Sunday morning. Mr. Burdick had been sick nearly two months. Besides his wife he leaves three children, one son and two daughters. For several years he had been prominent in Milton Junction business circles, being a member of the lumber firm of West & Burdick. The funeral services were held at the S. D. B. church in Milton Junction Tuesday at 2 o'clock.
