Harold Martin Burdick, 84, former Milton area resident, died April 15, 1960 at his home, 5839 Meadowbrook Lane, Riverside, Calif. The son of Silas G. and Hannah Hull Burdick, he was born Sept. 28, 1875 at Lima, Wis. He graduated from the old Milton Junction High School in 1895 and attended Milton College. He married Martha Alice Mendenhall Sept. 28, 1899.
He was a farmer and insurance agent in the Milton Junction area until his retirement in the mid-thirties when they moved to Riverside. He was a member of the Milton Junction Seventh Day Baptist church for many years. He is survived by his wife; two daughters, Mrs. Lura Sayre of Riverside, and Mrs. Elmer Bingham (Dorothy) of San Diego, Calif.; a sister, Mrs. George B. Shaw of Alfred, N. Y.; nine grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by the eldest daughter, Mrs. G. Wayland Coon (Susie), and by a sister, Mrs. Paul W. Johnson of Clarkston, Wash. Services were held Tuesday, April 19 at Riverside.
