    [Note: on p. 180, Silas is said to have died 10 Feb, 1837, which precedes the opening of his probate in Oct by a longer than typical gap. Then his widow Hannah is said to have died 27 May 1837 when actually she petitioned the court in Silas' probate the following Oct. Thus both death dates are somewhat questionable.]
