Obituary article states as follows: Forrest: Shermon Earl Forrest, Suddenly, dear husband of Myrna, nee Lee: Beloved father of Julia Caral, fond son of Mattie and Jehu Forrest, fond brother of five brothers and sisters, Funeral services, Tuesday, 2 P.M. at chapel, 1056 W. Chicago Avenue, corner of Ogden. Interment, Glen Oaks, Hay market 1-0936 Chicago Tribune: October 17,1949. Revised Obituary: Shermon Earl Forrest died October 15, 1949 in Chicago Illinois at the age of 19. He is the son to Jehu Clistus Forrest and Mattie Lu Holley. Shermon leaves behind a wife Myrna Forrest Lee and one daughter Juilia Caral Forrest, parents Jehu and Mattie Forrest, Brothers Norvel L.V. Forrest, Quinnan Harold Forrest and George William Forrest.
