    Sarah Webster, b. June 30,1655, at Middletown, Ct., m. (1) Nov. 15, 1677, Joseph, son of Jacob Mygatt of Hartford, and grandson of Deacon Joseph Mygatt one of its early settlers. He died March, 1698. She mar. (2), Dec. 13, 1722, as his second wife, Bevil Waters of Hartford. He died Feb. 14, 1729, aged ninety-seven years, and she, Feb., 1744, aged nearly eighty-nine.

    I, Sarah Waters of Hartford, widow and relict of Mr. Bevil Waters of Hartford, late decd., do make this my last will and testament: Imprimis: I give unto my daughter Mary one of my silver spoons, which she shall choose. I give to my daughter Dorothy the other of my silver spoons after that my daughter Mary has had her first choice. I give unto my three daughters, Mary, Sarah and Dorothy, all my linen, woolen and silk clothing of what kind so ever it be, likewise all my household goods, to be equally divided amongst them. My daughter Mary shall have her first choice. I acquit and discharge Jacob Mygatt, my grandson, all that money which he borrowed of me. I give unto my grandson Joseph Mygatt £3 money, to be paid within 12 months after my decease. I give unto my two granddaughters, Mary and Sarah, the two daughters of my son Joseph Mygatt decd., each of them a Bible, to be procured for them after my decease by my executor. I give unto my four children, Zebulon, Mary, Sarah and Dorothy, all the remainder of my estate (after that my just debts, funeral expenses and the forementioned legacies are paid) in equal proportion, saving only that my daughter Sarah shall have 25 shillings less than an equal part on account of what I have before given to her. I appoint my brother John Seymour to be sole executor.

    Court Record, Page 39—6 March, 1743-4: An inventory of the estate of Mrs. Sarah Waters, widow and relict of Bevil Waters decd., was now exhibited in Court by Jonathan Steele of Hartford, Adms. with the will annexed, which inventory is by this Court accepted and ordered on file.

    Page 55 (Vol. XV) 11 January, 1747-8: Jonathan Steele, Adms., exhibited an account of his Adms. Accepted. The sd. Adms. now moves for a distribution of sd. estate according to the will: Whereupon this Court order that distribution be made accordingly, viz., to Mary, Sarah and Dorothy, daughters of sd. deceased, all the wearing apparrell and household stuff, according to the direction of sd. will; and to Zebulon Mygatt or his heirs and to the sd. Mary, Sarah and Dorothy, also, all the residue and remainder of sd. moveable estate after the debts and charges are paid and the abovesd. legacies discharged. And appoint John Skinner and Joseph Holtom, of Hartford, distributors."
