The last will and testament of Jonathan Webster, Sen., of Hartford: I confirm to my wife all which before I have made over to her by an instrument under my hand and signed by my own handwrighting. I give to my three daughters all my moveable estate (namely, Susannah Steele, Mary Brace and Mehetabell Bidwell), to be equally divided between them. I give unto my son Benjamin all the land that I have within the south meadow. I confirm unto the heirs of my son Stephen decd, the land which I made over to him in his lifetime and to have at my decease.
