Children of Joseph Root [#351] and Hannah Haynes:
    "362. Sarah, b. March 4, 1671; d. in infancy."
    "363. Sarah, b. March 4, 1672; m. 1691, Samuel Hutchinson of Lebanon."
[Note: It is tempting to believe these two dates refer to the same event, being the result of confusion over whether to use new or old style years, but the fact is that there are two separate records in Northampton records, both original and published, and it is physically possible, so there is "no credible evidence" that this isn't true.]

There is no credible evidence that Joseph and Hannah (Haynes) Roote had more than one daughter Sarah.

  3. Sarah was alive in 1712 when her son Jeremiah was born in Lebanon (Source:Connecticut, United States. Barbour Collection of Connecticut Town Vital Records, Lebanon Vital Records (NEHGS), p. 89), but Samuel's will dated 1740 mentioned a wife Margaret (TAG, Vol. 23, p. 122).
