This person does not have any known living descendants. Her son had issue, but apparently each of her grandchildren died without issue.

Personal History

Sarah Quincey, daughter of John Quincey of Southrow, labourer, by Sarah[1] (East), was baptized on 25 October 1816 in the parish of Bardney, Lincolnshire, England.[1]

Marriage and Family

On 11 March 1839, John Overton of Bardney, labourer and son of William Overton, carpenter, and Sarah Quincey of Bardney, daughter of John Quincey, labourer, were married after banns at the parish church of Bardney, Lincolnshire, by J.F. Wray. The marriage was witnessed by (Sarah's father) John Quincey and John Jackson.

Death and Probate

Sarah Overton of Southrey, widow of John Overton, master carpenter, died there on 17 March 1893 of bronchitis after one month; the death was registered on 1 April by her daughter S.J. Booth of Southrey, who was “in attendance”.[3] She was buried 20 March in the parish of Bardney.[2]
