    Vol. 27, p. 49 6 Feb 1747/78: Sarah Rogers of Rutland administratrix for £55 conveys to Joseph Moor of Lancaster one half part of a share in Lot No. six of the Estate of William Houghton Deceast contain a parcel in Lancaster, and also all right to my Aunt Experience Houghtons Thirds.

    Vol. 41, p. 10 20 Jun 1748: Sarah Rogers of Rutland Widow for £30 conveys to Benjamin Houghton of Bolton all that I had or ought to have had in ye Real Estate that was Set of[f] to my Hon'd Mother Isabell Rogers in ye Estate that was her former husbands Joseph Houghtons which was the West part of ye hom[e]stead of my Hon'd Father Joseph Houghton Dec'd. Acknowledged 17 Aug 1758.

    Vol. 53, p. 263 11 Mar 1765: Sarah Rogers widow, Abijah Robers Yeoman, Sarah Rogers Jun'r spinster, Joshua Nurse Jr. Cooper and Elizabeth his wife all of Rutland, Sarah being Relict and the said Sarah Rogers Jr Abijah Rogers and Elizabeth Nurse being Children and Heirs of ye Estate of Sam'l Rogers Late of Rutland for £126/13/4 convey to John Murray of Rutland Esquire all real estate in Rutland that Samuel Rogers died seized and possessed of. Acknowledged 21 Oct 1765.

    [Note: the second deed establishes parentage. William in the first deed is brother of father Joseph, i.e., an uncle, making William's wife Experience her aunt. The third deed shows she had not remarried and was living in 1765.]
